What to do after downloading

  1. Locate the downloaded file

    Open your Downloads folder and find the adept-quick-support.exe file.

  2. Run the application

    Double-click the file to launch it. If Windows SmartScreen appears, click "More info" then "Run anyway".

  3. Share your ID

    Once the application opens, you will see a Your ID number displayed. Share this ID with your Adept IT Solutions support technician.

  4. Accept the connection

    When your technician connects, a prompt will appear asking you to allow the remote session. Click "Accept" to proceed.

  1. Open the downloaded file

    Locate adept-quick-support.dmg in your Downloads folder and double-click to open it.

  2. Launch the application

    Drag the Adept Quick Support app into the Applications folder, or double-click it directly.

  3. Grant permissions

    macOS will ask for Screen Recording and Accessibility permissions. Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security and enable both for Adept Quick Support.

  4. Share your ID

    Once open, share the displayed Your ID number with your Adept IT Solutions support technician.

  5. Accept the connection

    Click "Accept" when prompted to allow the remote session.
